DrivingMBA is proud to announce a partnership with Community Tire and Automotive Service Specialists to deliver the Car Maintenance course. Community Tire and Automotive Service Specialists have been a part of the community since 1991. Over the years the family owned company grew to seven locations serving Phoenix, Glendale, Prescott Valley, and Cottonwood. Their name changed from “Knudsen’s Tire” to reflect the true image and beliefs of the company. Their facilities are full service operations that offer complete auto repair and tire care on both domestic and import vehicles. Community Tire has won numerous awards including the 2008 IMPACT award.

The Car Maintenance course is designed for individuals that want to learn about basic car maintenance such as fluids, brakes, battery, belts and hoses, tire maintenance and more. The format is a classroom presentation, hands-on demonstrations and question and answer. In a recent class a father said, “This course should be mandatory.” He was glad to see his daughters get hands-on experience with jumper cables and tire changing.

This course is a component of DrivingMBA Comprehensive Package or can be purchased al a carte.

Community Tire & Automotive Service Specialist is the Phoenix Chamber of Commerce’s 2008 SMALL BUSINESS OF THE YEAR IMPACT AWARD. And they were also the recipient of the coveted finalist ethics award of the Arizona BBB for 2007.
