Neighborhood Auto Repair Professionals (NARPRO) is teaming up with Toys for Tots to brighten the holiday season for children across the Valley. All of the 23 quality, independent auto repair shops in the NARPRO referral network will be collecting toys for children from November 17th to December 12th. Donators who bring new and unwrapped toy(s) worth a minimum value of $10 to any NARPRO recommended shop will receive a winter inspection of their vehicle and/or $15 off a standard oil change. Go to NARPRO.com for details and to find the shop nearest to your work or home to donate to this holiday cause.
“We are dedicating the drive to Gy Sgt. Manuelito (Mano) Patton, the stepson of Howard Fleischmann, Sr., owner of Community Tire and Auto Repair, a group of shops in the NARPRO family. Mano was tragically killed by a red light runner while riding his motorcycle last month, said Jay Jennings, NARPRO General Manager. “It’s the least we could do to remember this fallen soldier and we are grateful for the work that the Marines do to help with Toys for Tots. NARPRO has always shown a commitment to the community. We currently work with other local charities, such as Helping Hands for Single Moms and Packages from Home.”
NARPRO only recommends independent, family-owned, full-service auto repair shops that have passed 26 rigorous tests of their certifications, customer service, performance, facilities management and auto repair standards record of service to the community. Drivers may visit http://www.NARPRO.com to find recommended shops near their work or home. Or they may simply call (602) 257-0033 and talk to someone who will connect them to find a top-quality shop in their neighborhood. Either way, NARPRO is the easiest way to find an honest mechanic.
Toys for Tots was founded in 1947 and has been donating toys to needy children ever since. Each year, the organization collects several million toys for children in the United States, all distributed by Marines and volunteers like NARPRO. The organization frequently appears in the Philanthropy 400. For more information about Toys for Tots, visit their website at www.toysfortots.org
